The Rock shared a cryptic message on Twitter during WrestleMania weekend, teasing his return to WWE.
The Great One recently uploaded a video on Twitter, addressing the WWE Universe and his fellow wrestlers. He first, addressed the fans, saying that they’re the anchor of the WWE Superstars and the very reason why they perform.
In his video, The Rock also congratulated his daughter Ava Raine, who made her big debut in NXT. He then talked about his fellow WWE performers, who he referred to as his “brothers and sisters in the squared circle”. He advised them to have as much fun as possible while entertaining the WWE Universe.
Lastly, he talked about his cousins, The Bloodline. He said he’s the most excited about the match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. He said the following in the video, which implied his eventual return:
“I gotta tell you, I’m so excited for not only all the matches but especially the main event with my cousin Roman Reigns, the Universal Champion. And to my family, the entire Bloodline – Jey, Jimmy, Solo – we’re so proud of you guys. Kick ass, electrify SoFi Stadium. Do what you do, it is in our blood. And who knows, maybe, just maybe, down the road, I’ll see you in person. Maybe. I’ll just leave it at that.”
As can be seen in the video, The Great One teased his potential meet with The Bloodline at some point. This left fans wondering if The Rock would show up on WrestleMania Night 2. If he was to show up to butt heads with The Bloodline, WrestleMania would be a good place to do it. However, that would take away the spotlight from Reigns’ current opponent, Cody Rhodes.
It seems unlikely that The Great One is going to show up at WrestleMania. He was originally scheduled to fight The Tribal Chief at this year’s Showcase of The Immortals. However, that match was scrapped when The Rock pulled out of the match earlier this year. Since then, fans have been speculating whether or not he would ever face Roman Reigns.
