In AEW, The Elite is involved in a storyline with Konosuke Takeshita, and he made a big statement regarding WWE’s Bloodline. He considers their storyline as the best storyline in professional wrestling right now.
The Elite has been a dominant faction in AEW and has been giving classic matches since the start of the company in 2019 consisting of Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, and their new associate Konosuke Takeshita.
The group formed in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) in 2016, and they have since become one of the most popular and influential factions in modern wrestling.
Kenny Omega is the leader of The Elite, widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world. The Young Bucks are a tag team with great high-flying, acrobatic style, and team chemistry. The group has a unique style that blends traditional wrestling techniques with modern, high-flying moves. They have been involved in many memorable matches and storylines in AEW.
Young Bucks have always been in controversies for mentioning their rival company WWE or their wrestlers during their promos. One such moment came up during the recent episode of Being the Elite. Matt Jackson was running down the whole rivalry involving Adam Page and The Elite to Konosuke Takeshita who seemed to get bored as Matt progressed about the storyline.
Takeshita lost interest and asked Matt to leave followed by the arrival of Nick Jackson in the frame. Nick started bloating how great the rivalry has been and is surely the best story going on right now. To which, Konosuke gave a dry reply and favored The Bloodline rivalry more considering it as the best rivalry going on in pro wrestling right now.
It was very shocking for many fans to see The Elite’s very own member praising a storyline of their rival company. Making the episode even more viral and the whole talk of the town after Tribal Chief Roman Reigns’ mention.
