While being on a social media interactive session called UpNXT Q&A on WWE’s Snapchat, the number one contender for NXT Championship Grayson Waller was asked about his dream opponent to which without a single hesitation, he gave The Rock’s name. Instead of having a dream match with him, he expressed his desire to have a promo segment with him instead and would love to cook with him inside the ring on the mic.
Waller is currently regarded as one of the best performers in NXT and has been the best on the microphone in all of NXT. Waller can cut huge promos and has that charisma that makes the audience tune into his promos each week. He stated that he and The Rock are the greatest talkers inside the ring and he just wants to get a microphone for both of them to let them cook inside the ring. He further added that it will be a burn fest as both are top-notch superstars when it comes to promo battles.
GRAYSON WALLER LOOKS TO CLAIM THE NXT TITLE AT SPRING BREAKIN’
Grayson Waller is also the number one contender for the NXT championship and is scheduled to face Carmelo Hayes for the championship at NXT’s next event, NXT Spring Breakin’.
Waller earned the opportunity after he won a fatal four-way match to punch his ticket against Hayes last week.
Waller even hosted The Grayson Waller Effect talkshow inviting Hayes which made this rivalry even more personal as Hayes attacked Waller’s ego by taunting him of his losses at big stages to which the challenger remained confident and stated that he is ready to face Hayes and claim that NXT title at Spring Breakin’.
The duo was also seen involved in a roast battle on Twitter in which Hayes got the upper hand making this rivalry even more intense and by the looks of it, this match might steal the show this weekend at NXT Spring Breakin’.
