This episode of Hotboxin gets really hot when the host asks the boxing legend about his favorite wrestling company, WWE or AEW.
So, on the last episode of Hotboxin, Mike Tyson and NFL champion Sebastian Joseph Day were joined by WWE superstar The Undertaker. On the show, Sebastian Joseph Day asked what it needs to be a special guest at WWE, Tyson said, he’d rather go to WWE than AEW, even though AEW pays more.
He said, “You know Tony Khan and those guys? Yeah, these guys want to put me on the show and stuff before. But I don’t care if they got more money. If Vince [McMahon] put me on the show, I’d rather go there [WWE] even though they [AEW] pay more money“
To which The Undertaker replied, “I don’t blame you there. It’s going to get much more play. WWE is going to do it right. Yeah.“
His love for Vince and WWE is old, as in 2012, Mike Tyson was in the WWE Hall of Famers as a celebrity inductee. He was notoriously the outside enforcer for “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIV in 1998. He was also a guest host in one episode of Raw, back in 2010.
His connection with WWE is really old and him choosing it over AEW is understandable. However, the boxer also attended AEW’s programs several times too. Including a recent appearance in November as a guest commentator in a match between Orange Cassidy and Katsuyori Shibata on Rampage.
Mike Tyson’s records
Mike Tyson is one of the greatest boxers who ever lived, and I think everybody can agree on that. He played a total of 58 fights in which he won 50 times, 44 with knockouts, and losses only 6 times. These numbers are crazy and calling him the greatest of all time, I guess there’s nothing wrong with it.
