The most awaited match, Novak Djokovic the world’s No.2 in ATP is up against Jordan Thompson for the win in this game. As the game started, the first set was seriously dominated by Novak, winning with the score of 6 games dropping down with only four matches. Moving into the second round Jordan became more aware of the situation. Jordan managed to get the set into the tie-breaker round but still lost it. Djokovic won the second set with a score of 7-4 in the tiebreaker. Progressing to the third set both Novak and Jordan gave full throttle, but still, Djokovic snatched the winning title from Jordan’s hands by winning the third set by 7 games with a loss of 5 games.

#2 Daniil Medvedev v/s Arthur Ferry
As soon as the game started Daniil Medvedev started dominating the game. Daniel went on to win the first set in a 7-5 game scoreline. Moving on to the second set Daniel again being in the top position scored 6 games while dropping 4 games on the way. Where in the third game Medvedev took the lead by bagging 6 games and defeating Arthur Ferry who could only win 3.

#3 Frances Tiafoe v/s Wu Yibing
Frances Tiafoe, the world’s No.10 rank in ATP started game one aggressively and had a tie-breaker game in the first set. He won the tiebreaker by winning 7 points while his opponent could only grab 4. Ongoing to the second set Frances increased the gap and won on a 6-3 scoreline. Progressing to the third set, Tiafoe took the better approach and beat his opponent, dropping only 4 games in that set.

#4 Holger Rune v/s George Loffhagen
Holger Rune who is ranked the world No.6 in ATP was fighting against George Loffhagen. As the match began, the first set went to the tie-breaker. The set fell on Holger’s side. Going towards the second set, Rune performed well and bagged 6 games while dropping 3. Moving further in the third set, Holger Rune maintained his composure and won the match set.

#5 Stefanos Tsitsipas v/s Dominic Thiem
Stefanos Tsitsipas holds the world No.5 ranking and was up against Dominic Thiem. In the first set, Dominic claimed the court and won on a 6-3 scoreline. However, it didn’t last much as Tsitsipas was now on alert. He pushed the set to a tie-breaker and won by a 6-point difference in the tiebreaker. Tsitsipas now carried this momentum and went on to win the 3rd set. Getting into the 4th set, Tsitsipas tried moving forward his streak but was hindered by the tie-breaker set, losing the set to Thiem by 2 points in the tiebreaker. The game stretched quite long but in the last set, the 5th set, Tsitsipas proved who is the conqueror of the court. Tsitsipas won the match by winning the 5th set by a 10-8 scoreline in the tiebreaker.
