As we all know about Cristiano Ronaldo’s situation, what is going on for the past few days? Ronaldo targeted almost everyone in Man United who he has beef with but now he is at the gunpoint. First Rooney then Garry Neville and now Craig Burly everyone is responding to Cristiano Ronaldo’s sort of allegations.
“He can’t handle the fact that he’s now a squad player at Man United,” Craig Burly said in a recent interview with ESPN.
He further said, “Who out there wanted a 38-year-old problem”? he said this when he was asked about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United.
So, this Ronaldo situation is spreading like a forest fire, everyone has something to say about it. Some still support him as he really felt betrayed by his club but on the other hand, some hate him as they think he is just being self-centered and he is finished now.
Many big names even commented on this situation as his time is gone, he is finished and should retire now. So, is he really finished?
What Cristiano Ronaldo said?
In an interview with Piers Morgan for TalkTV released by The Sun on Sunday night, Ronaldo also claimed there has been “zero progress” at the club since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in the summer of 2013.
He also said that the senior executive of Manchester United wanted him out of the club. He said, “Honestly, I don’t know. I don’t care. People should hear the truth. Yes, I feel betrayed. Some people don’t want me here not only this year, but last year too”.
He also targeted former Interm Manager, Ralf Ragnick. He said, “For example, an interesting point is how a club like Manchester United sacked Ole (Gunnar Solskjaer), they bring in a sporting director Ralf Rangnick which is something nobody understands. This guy is not even a coach! A big club like Manchester United bringing in a sporting director surprised not only me but all the world”.
But things get out of hand when Ronaldo expresses his views on Erik Tan Hag. “I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you,” he said.
