We all know that Ronaldo is a free agent now as he left Manchester United on a mutual agreement. Though it was not surprising after that interview of Ronaldo with Piers Morgan, we all see that coming. But that’s not the problem, it’s good Ronaldo and Manchester United parted their ways as it will be good for both of them.
So, now Ronaldo is free to join any club after the World Cup in the winter transfer window. Who will he join, is it going to be PSG? I mean who doesn’t want Messi and Ronaldo on the same team?
Is it going to be Chelsea, as they always struggle with finishing and Ronaldo can cover that up.
What did Vincent Kompany said about Cristiano Ronaldo?
Vincent Kompany on being asked about signing Ronaldo, he replied, “We need players who can run”.
He added, “I think that in the end everybody loses, except perhaps the Manchester United manager. I think it’s a problem that’s resolved and they’ll move on from this, I’m sure”.
Kompany made the remark just hours after Manchester United announced the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will depart Old Trafford immediately. Ronaldo acknowledged that he “doesn’t respect” the club’s manager Erik ten Hag and criticised how people at the top of the organisational structure operate the team.
He is clearly mocking Ronaldo and his fitness. Now he is obviously not 25, he is 37, there is a reduction in his game but it’s not like he is “too old to play”. He was the top scorer for Manchester United last season and finished 3rd in most goals in Premier League last season.
Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Manchester United
Ronaldo’s contract was terminated as a result of a recent interview he had with broadcaster Piers Morgan, which aired last week on TalkTV in the UK. Ronaldo voiced a number of complaints in the interview, including his feelings of being “betrayed” by the group and his lack of respect for Manager Erik ten Hag.
The club statement said, “The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances and wishes him and his family well for the future. Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch“.
Where will Cristiano Ronaldo will end up signing?
