It seems like The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus has quite a distinct taste in movies. In a recent conference before his match at WrestleMania 39, Sheamus talks about his favourite movie trilogy of all time.
Appearing on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Sheamus can be seen discussing with the crowd about their favourite movie trilogies, where he also revealed his own favourite movie trilogy. Read on to find out.
Some people would have guessed Sheamus’ favourite trilogy would be among The Dark Knight, The Lord of The Rings or even Star Wars. However, The Celtic Warrior revealed that his favourite is the Back To The Future trilogy.
In the video, Sheamus can be seen asking the crowd about their favourite movie trilogy. Someone in the crowd said Harry Potter, to which he quickly responded with, “Harry Potter? That’s not a Trilogy.“ Ryan chipped in by saying that his favourite was the Star Wars trilogy, to which The Celtic Warrior replied with a defiant no. His answer clearly shocked Ryan.
Another fan said Back To The Future, which seemed to please The Celtic Warrior. He said, “Yes! Give that man a Thousand Dollars Right now, Ryan.” Ryan pointed out that Back to The Future 3 isn’t as good, but Sheamus argued that the first two were so good that it didn’t matter. He then said, “That was like saying Star Wars, You think Return Of The Jedi was a strong movie?… It’s Garbage, Mate… I thought it was a Terrible Movie”. The show host tried to argue back that all of the Star Wars movies were good, but majority would agree that the sequel trilogy was plain bad.
Lastly, Ryan Martin asked The Celtic Warrior what his favourite movie trilogy of all time is, to which he declared, “Back to The Future”. This segment was then uploaded to Twitter by Ryan, which was then retweeted by Sheamus, proudly declaring Back to The Future as the best movie trilogy of all time.
Did Sheamus win at WrestleMania 39?
The Celtic Warrior faced off against Gunther and Drew McIntyre at The Showcase of The Immortals. After a solid performance by all the competitors, The Ring General, Gunther retained his Intercontinental Championship by pinning Drew McIntyre.
There is a chance however, that Sheamus might get another shot at the Intercontinental Championship at the upcoming BackLash PPV. What lies ahead for The Celtic Warrior, remains to be seen.
