PEREZ’S INJURY RULES HER OUT FROM NXT STAND AND DELIVER AND FURTHER THE TITLE IS HELD VACANT
As noted last week, Roxanne Perez collapsed in the ring and was stretchered out at the end of the show after she defended her title against Meiko Satomura and now Senior Vice President of NXT Shawn Michaels has made a major announcement regarding the health status of Perez and status of NXT Women’s Championship.
After a week of speculation, Michaels brought it to Twitter and stated about the health and the future of the WWE NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP.
Michaels tweeted that Perez was discharged from the hospital, however, after numerous tests, Roxanne’s health is still in question, and due to that Perez will not be able to appear at NXT Stand and Deliver.
The doctor who was taking care of this situation said that Roxanne has already gone through a lot of tests and they still can’t figure out what caused the Superstar to collapse inside the ring. He continued that they need more time to run more tests and inspections on the subject and will not be able to give an exact date for Perez’s return.
Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels stated that Roxanne Perez was discharged from the hospital but however after numerous tests, Roxanne’s health is still in question and with Stand and Deliver in less than three weeks he announced that a new champion will be crowned at NXT Stand and Deliver.

Michaels also tweeted about the future of the women’s championship and stated that a series of matches will be contested to ultimately crown a new champ at Stand and deliver which will be a Ladder Match.
Two qualifying matches were contested in today’s WWE NXT episode between Gigi Dolin and Kiana James as well as Zoey Stark and Sol Ruca in which Zoey Stark and Gigi Dolin qualified by winning their respective matches.
