He only got to start twice under Erik ten Hag. Once in the UEFA Europa League and once in the Premier League. And coincidently, both the games ended as a defeat for the Portuguese player.

Even after getting restricted to the part-time role, the Portuguese skipper has shown what he has got in his arsenal as he successfully reached an individual milestone at Goodison Park with his first goal of the season in Premier League.
The 37-year-old played for a total of four clubs across various National leagues. He started his career in Portugal with Sporting, scoring five goals with the club. Then, he joined Old Trafford for his first spell with the club. In total, he has scored 144 goals under Sir Alex Ferguson, Erik ten Hag and Ralf Rangnick.
He joined Real Madrid in 2009, and left them after becoming their highest ever goal scorer and winning five UEFA Champions League titles with them. Cristiano Ronaldo scored 450 goals for the Spanish Giants.
His spell at the Old Lady wasn’t so good it was more on the mediocre side. But still he scored 101 goals for them against changing managers. The 37-year-old will head into, Which is seen as his final World Cup later this year. And he hope he’ll get a positive outcome from it.
