Finn Balor suffered a devastating injury at WrestleMania but before that he suffered an injury that nearly took him out of action and he was also in doubt about competing at WrestleMania 39.
Finn Balor was seen in his ‘Demon’ persona when he faced The Rated R Superstar Edge at the grandest stage of them all WrestleMania 39 last weekend and gave up a hard-hitting and fast-paced match against the Ultimate Opportunist despite not being 100% healthy as he came back from a major injury which he inquired on an episode of SmackDown which he told about in his latest tweet.
Finn Balor revealed that he dealt with an injury on 10th March in an episode of SmackDown when he teamed up with Dominik and Damian Priest against Legado Del Fantasma and suffered the injury during making a tag in that match.
Finn Balor took it to his social media to reveal that injury now and stated that it was a grade 2 calf tear and is a major injury that takes out a performer for a long time. Balor stated that the injury generally takes out six to eight weeks to recover and during this time WrestleMania was supposed to take place.
Balor then admired the WWE Medical team as they recovered the injury in almost three weeks and two days to keep him fit for WrestleMania.Balor also mentioned his wife as she told him that this injury was his real demon and he needed to conquer it to bring out his demon persona at WrestleMania which helped him a lot to recover along with the combined efforts of the WWE medical staff who were all behind Finn for his recovery.
With all the prayers and efforts made by Balor and the medical team, Finn was ready to rock on the grandest stage of them all but was again sidelined because of another injury that caught his head and made him acquire quick stitches and some injections during his match against Edge.
Fortunately, he was able to continue the match and also shared some disturbing images of the injury that occurred at Mania requiring 14 staples to close the bleeding wound.
