In the month of January, WWE announced that they are bringing a Mexican Wrestler on board, that is Dragon Lee from a Japanese wrestling division. Lee has been wrestling for several years in different countries and under different companies. He has been a part of AAA, CMLL, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor and now he is going to be a part of World Wrestling Entertainment.
As mentioned, he signed the deal with WWE for the NXT division in January but he hasn’t officially debuted in the ring because of his ongoing issues with Visa applications. WWE didn’t update us on this Dragon Lee situation that when we are going to see him inside the ring.
So the question arises, When will Dragon Lee debut? Well according to WhatCulture, there is a very high chance to see him at NXT’s Stand and Deliver. Lee is presumed to appear there if not early and he will be given a challenge as Wes Lee’s contract for North American Title is still open and Dragon Lee should sign that up.
If Lee accepted that challenge, it will be his first fight in 2023, the last time he was in the ring was in December 2022 at AAA’s Gira Aniversiro XXX – Noche De Campeones. In that Pay per view, Lee defended his AAA’s Tag Team Title alongside his tag buddy Dralistico (Together Los Hermanos Lee). After that win, Lee confirmed the rumors about him leaving AAA and signing a new contract with WWE.
So, for now, Lee is yet to debut in the NXT ring but however, but he showed his presence to the fans after surprising them as he was part of the crowd at NXT’s Roadblock.
