WWE NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Grayson Waller are set to collide for the title but the rivalry between them has taken over Twitter as both the superstars can be seen trying to take some heavy blows on each other on the social media creating a roast battle for their fans.
WWE NXT is looking forward to hosting NXT’s next big event which is NXT Spring Breakin’ and is rapidly approaching later this week with exciting matches and leading the front of the card is the NXT Championship match involving Carmelo and Grayson Waller.
Waller earned the opportunity after he won a fatal four-way to determine the number one contender for the championship last week.
This week on NXT, Waller hosted his trademark ‘The Grayson Waller Effect’ where he invited Hayes, and things got escalated pretty quickly as Hayes taunted Waller about his big match losses to which Waller responded confidently and stated that he would win the championship. Being a verbal battle, it pumped up the audience and they are looking forward to seeing this match despite not having many promos and segments.
Carmelo Hayes and Grayson’s online banter
The duo can be seen dissing each other on Twitter to make this rivalry even more lethal and personal and fans are liking this duo getting all out on the blue platform.
This all started when WWE posted a backstage video of Grayson about to confront the champion face to face to which Carmelo joked about Waller’s costume and stated that he is in a Melo cosplay and is trying to copy him as much as he can.
To which, Waller backfired and stated that the difference is that his clothes aren’t from the kid’s section to which fans reacted in huge numbers and called Waller a savage for pulling this up.
Carmelo replied with another savage reply to end this small roast battle as he stated that the Women’s section of H&M is about to run out of tight jeans all thanks to Mr. Waller.
This verbal battle between both the superstars has been going viral on social media and fans are looking forward to seeing both of them inside the ring. With a clear chance of Hayes winning, we may also see a shocking title change this week when these two battle for the gold.
