On this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, Brock Lesnar and Omos came face to face for a weigh-in segment, ahead of their match at WrestleMania. And The Beast got manhandled by The Nigerian Giant, again.
A few weeks ago, the WWE Legend, MVP issued a challenge to The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar to fight Omos at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Lesnar accepted, delivering an F5 to MVP for good measure. From thereon, it has been a matter of these two behemoths coming face to face, with each of them looking to establish their dominance. However, this week’s edition of RAW marks the second time that Lesnar was manhandled by The Nigerian Giant.
On this week’s edition of RAW, Omos and Lesnar met once again, for a weigh-in segment before their match at WrestleMania this coming weekend. As predicted, it didn’t take too long for the two monsters to come to blows. Lesnar attempted to put Omos down, trying to hit him with the weight scale. However, Omos got the upper hand and hit him with a big boot. As he tried to hit Lesnar with his own weapon, The Beast backed down and retreated completely.
Afterward appearing in an interview with Byron Saxton, the WWE Legend MVP proclaimed that Brock Lesnar was afraid of The Nigerian Giant.
“Twice! Twice now, we’ve seen The Nigerian Giant dispose of Brock Lesnar. Instead of Lesnar continuing forward, he stepped back,” said Omos’ manager MVP.
Lesnar and Omos were supposed to come face to face tonight for an official weigh-in before their esteemed match at the Showcase of the Immortals. However, Brock snapped and attacked the Nigerian Giant during the event and even used the scale to attack his giant opponent.
Lesnar grabbed a weapon to try to attack The Nigerian Giant. That tells me that Lesnar was scared. Have you ever seen Lesnar grab a weapon? Never!”, said the 49-year old Legend.
Omos then grabbed the mic and declared that he was going to destroy The Beast in their match at WrestleMania.
Is Brock Lesnar going to retire after WrestleMania 39?
There have been rumors going around lately that The Beast might be looking to retire from WWE after WrestleMania 39. His contract usually expires in April and according to recent reports, Lesnar has been saying his goodbyes to the staff and talent backstage.
Lesnar has been offered a contract till WrestleMania of next year. However, it’s not been confirmed yet whether he has signed a new contract or not. If he loses at WrestleMania against Omos, it would mean his time in WWE is over. However, if he has a clean win over Omos, then he’s sticking around for another year at best.
Fans would have to wait and see for themselves if The Beast would make it to WrestleMania 40 or not. Catch the match between Brock Lesnar and Omos at WrestleMania Night 1.
