Wimbledon is the oldest and the most prestigious tennis tournament. Wimbledon Day 2 had some important matches to set our eyes on. On one half of the court we have Jannik Sinner, ranked world No.8 and on the other half stood Juan Manuel Cerundolo with a World No.79 ranking. By looking at the stats, it was an easy win for the Italian.
Jannik Sinner opened his first set and easily scored 6 games whilst losing 2 games to his opponent. In the second set, Sinner again won 6 games with a counter of the same 2 games won by Juan. But Jannik Sinner’s work made it easy for him to score 6 games while only giving 2 games to the Argentine.

#2 Carlos Alcaraz v/s Jeremy Chardy
Carlos Alcaraz has the bewildering world No.1 ranking to intimidate any opponent he encounters. On the other side of the court Jeremy Chardy has the world No.534 ranking. It wasn’t a hard match for Alcaraz as he clean sweeped into the 2nd round.
Carlos aced the first set and won without dropping a single game. He continued the momentum into the second round and won it on a 6-2 game scoreline. Jeremy put up a good fight in the last set but couln’t overcome the sheer force of the no. 1 and lost the set and the match as well.

#3 Andy Murray v/s Ryan Peniston
Andy Murray is ranked world No.43 and on the other side, Ryan Peniston is ranked the world No.257. There was a huge gap in the ranking of both the players. Let’s see how these numbers synchronised with the scores on the court.
Opening the match’s first set Andy Murray won 6 games against Ryan’s 3 game wins. It just went up the hill for Andy from here as he won the second set without dropping a single set. He even picked an easy win in the 3rd set.

#4 Cameron Norrie v/s Tomas Machac
