Recently, Mustafa Ali has been spending some time answering fan questions on Twitter. And in one of those questions, Ali named WWE superstar Bayley as a potential mixed tag team partner.
Mustafa Ali hasn’t really interacted much with Bayley in his entire WWE career, if at all. However, due to Bayley’s in-ring capabilities and her experience, no doubt that she’s The Disruptor’s first choice.
Mustafa Ali is one of WWE’s most underrated and talented superstars. The former promotion called 205 Live was where Ali really shined and won over the entire WWE Universe. Fans got to witness what The Disruptor was truly capable of, and have been clamoring for years for Ali to get the push he truly deserves. It was reported that WWE had big plans for Mustafa Ali following WrestleMania, but it still remains to be seen when it will actually happen. As of now, Ali wants Bayley to be his tag team partner, if a mixed tag team match ever ends up happening between them.
It is to be noted that Bayley has been getting slightly better but has a similar treatment to Mustafa Ali. It’s no doubt that Bayley is one of WWE’s top assets. She made her debut in 2016 and quickly rose to popularity with her “always positive” attitude.
When the former hugger returned to in-ring action after an injury, she became one of the hottest heels in the Women’s Division. She formed a faction called Damage CTRL alongside Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai. The villainous stable has caused quite a ruckus for Becky Lynch over the past few months. However, they were quickly sidelined after a loss at the hands of Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus, and Lita at WrestleMania.
Although Bayley is a household name in WWE’s women’s division, she is yet to have a meaningful victory since her feud with Becky Lynch. Fans can only hope that both Mustafa Ali and Bayley are involved more in the major storylines of RAW.
Mustafa Ali speaks on his current position in WWE
Mustafa Ali is almost treated like a jobber as he loses almost every match he is in nowadays. Ever since he was called up to the main roster, Ali hasn’t made any progress in his career. Although he gives it him all in all of his matches, the cruiserweight can’t seem to get a decent push in the company. Ali appreciates his fans pushing for him to be booked properly.
“Thank you. Yeah, I guess that’s my one solace. I always hear the fans saying, like, ‘oh, this guy deserves better, you should be presented better’. And at the end of the day, all I ask is that, as long as fans know that anytime I’ve been given something, I put my heart and soul into it. I’m dedicated, whether I agree with it or not.“
