Finn Balor took it to Twitter and posted an image of the injury he suffered during his match against Edge at Night 2 of WrestleMania 39.
With a fully stacked card and matches delivering up to the hype, the two-night blockbuster WrestleMania surely made everyone threatened to see Finn Balor suffer an injury during his match against The Rated R Superstar Edge and collided in the ring before being treated by the medics.
The injury occurred when Edge threw a ladder to Finn right into his head which busted him open and made him bleed.
Upon seeing this, the match was stopped and medics made their way into the ring knowing the issue was serious and not a part of the script. While Finn was being cured Edge searched for more weapons and stayed in character throughout.
After being medically attended to and with some quick stitches, Finn continued the match and eventually lost the match delivering an awesome match despite being injured and in severe pain.
Finn gave an update on his injury and posted a photo of his injury which showed his head stitched up with a layer of blood seen on his head.
Since the incident, fans have been all behind Finn and have praised him for completing the match without any hesitation and finishing it with a memorable finish as Edge with a Con-Chair-To which left Balor finished and exhausted.
Many fans were not happy with the outcome of the match as they wanted to see Finn win as he continued to wrestle despite having an injury in his head.
While the leader of Judgment Day lost, Rhea Ripley secured a win against Charlotte Flair and captured the SmackDown Women’s championship.
Another stable member, Dominic suffered a loss against his own Dad, Rey Mysterio on the grandest stage of them all.
