After this Saturday in Saudi Arabia, when WWE’s next premium live event, Night of Champions, airs, one talent who hasn’t appeared on television in months will be used. Tegan Nox is set to make her return after the premium live event possibly in a rivalry.
Tegan Nox hasn’t been much used since her return to the company and debut in the main roster. Nox joined the main roster in 2021 after being promoted from NXT, where she competed in a few matches before being let go along with a number of other wrestlers due to budget cuts.
When Triple H came to the creative team in December, to defend Liv Morgan from Damage CTRL’s assault, he put numerous stars, including Nox, on SmackDown.
Nox was transferred to Raw as part of this year’s Draft from the SmackDown brand. In her final on-screen contest, she and Emma lost to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on SmackDown on March 17.
Since then, she has participated in dark matches, fights at live events, and matches taped for Main Event.
Her most recent match, against Nikki Cross, aired last week.
A Look at the Career of Tegan Nox
Nox started wrestling in 2014 in various independent circuits making a name for herself.
Nox’s career with WWE began in 2017 when she earned a deal with the business and was put in charge of its NXT developmental division. In April 2018, she competed in the first Mae Young Classic competition, marking her broadcast debut. Nox made an impact with her performances even though she was ousted in the second round.
Nox’s career has, however, been affected by a string of injuries. She sustained a significant knee injury at the Mae Young Classic in 2017. This required surgery and shelved her for several months. She made a comeback in 2018. However, a subsequent knee injury sustained in 2019 at a live event necessitated a protracted recovery period.
Nox continued to get admiration for her work in the women’s division. She took part in high-profile events and matches, including the first-ever Women’s War Games match in 2019. Additionally, she took part in the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2020.
