Serena Williams met one of her rivals Anna Kournikova at a music concert in Miami, Florida on Friday. The concert was led by Ricky Martin, Pitbull, and Enrique Iglesias.
It was the Trilogy Tour Concert at Kaseya Centre in Florida that conducted the grand event. Serena Williams was seen for the first time with Anna Kournikova outside the court. Serena Williams’s career lasted for close to three decades. She turned pro in 1995 and retired in 2022.
But the last time she played against Kournikova was way back in 2002 at Adidas International. It was an amazing sight for the tennis fans to see them together.
Anna Kournikova is a former Russian Tennis player, who turned pro in the same year as Serena. But her career lasted for a few years due to serious back and spinal problems. She retired in 2003. She played in both singles and doubles.
Anna never won a Grand Slam in singles but reached a career-best ranking of World No.8. She had a better doubles career as compared to her singles career. She won the Australian Open in 1999 and 2002 with Martina Hingis and also won the WTA Championships in 1999 and 2000. She has not played tennis since her retirement by has played a few charity matches later.
She started dating Enrique Iglesias in 2001 after she appeared in his music video “Escape”. The couple has been together since then and have three children now.
Serena Williams shared a video on Instagram, in which she was seen enjoying the concert with Anna Kournikova and later took photos together with the singers. She captioned that she had the best time at the show.

Serena Williams recently became the first athlete to win the Fashion Icon Award given by the Council of Fashion Designers of America(CFDA).
The 23-time Grand Slam winner has always been a fashion enthusiast ever since she was a little girl. She attended fashion school during her playing days and in 2018 launched her own clothing line, S by Serena, designed to empower people to look and feel their absolute best. She also launched a jewelry line later in 2019 inspired by strong, confident women.
Her achievement was celebrated by the official social media accounts of the US Open, which shared some of her best on-court looks. One of the photos featured a young Serena wearing a pink ensemble from Nike, a silver belly ring, and white Nike shoes at the 2004 French Open.
