The WWE superstar Indie Hartwell who is currently signed and performing under The NXT brand recently has been seen giving hints about the return of her former stable The Way.
Indi Hartwell who is having a great three-year run under the NXT brand which helped to improve and grow a lot inside the ring was part of the famous stable called The Way, which included Dexter Lumis, Candie LeRae, Austin Theory, and Johnny Gargano as their group leader.
Where it has been seen that Indie is the only member who is working under the NXT brand and all the other roster members are seen working under the WWE’s flagship pay-per-view show Monday Night RAW.
What and Who are “The Way?”
“The Way” was one of the most appreciated and admired stables in WWE history, this alliance was formed on December 9, 2020, and it consisted of Gargano, LeRae, Theory, and Hartwell as their core members. With Gargano in the lead, the stable managed to bag the NXT North American Championship 2 times and on the women’s counterparts, LeRae and Hartwell managed to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The roster started drifting its way apart when LeRae went on maternity leave and after which Gargano’s contract was coming to an end with the NXT Brand. The roster made its last appearance on December 7.

Recently Indi Hartwell shared a GIF on her Twitter handle where we can see her former teammate Johnny Gargano creating an air sign saying “NXT 4 LIFE”. Which kept the fans guessing and created some fan theories.
According to the interpretation of fans, this is a roster call up and the air sign is Indi’s way of thanking the NXT brand before she reunites with her former teammates and marks the end of the run with NXT.
Also, the biggest hint was the unannounced return of Johnny Gargano to the ring. Gargano went on a break for almost a year but on August 22, 2022, he rejoined and started working for WWE RAW which was later on interrupted by Austin Theory.
Seeing all this drama WWE fans are super excited about what’s on its way and are hoping for a reunion.
