Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has opened up about his take on England International Reece James. And the Brazilian Ace thinks that the young defender can emerge as one of the best players in the history of the game.
The English football team is full of world-class fullbacks and especially on the right side of the field. It is a great thing for Gareth Southgate, but with the same, the selection of the best becomes difficult.
Although, Recce James is seen as the best right back for England currently because of his excellent performance and lethal form for the Stamford Bridge club in the English Premier League. The balanced fullback broke into the first squad of Chelsea in 2019.
And with his consistency, he has proven that he’s one of the brightest prospects for the future. Also, the English fullback is seen as the major contender for the most competitive position on the national side.

Following the win over Milan, the Brazilian centre-back was asked about his teammate and responded with a stunning prediction. Speaking to HaytersTV, Silva said: “He is a very young athlete but looks like he [James] has been playing football for so many years.
“It’s easy to talk about him because he is a guy I really like. I hope he can continue with this winning mentality.”
Thiago Silva also said that Reece James is really hardworking and he deserves all the success in his very future. After breaking into the first squad, James has won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup under Thomas Tuchel. After the departure of the German Coach, Graham Potter took his place.
“He is a guy that really works hard and deserves all this success with the performances he is having, ” Silva added. “He is one of our strengths in the team both offensively and defensively and I hope he can continue like this.”
