5. The Great Khali vs Big Show
With half a ton of Humanity on the ring, this brawl was already one of the fan favorites. This supersized showdown in the Backlash 2008 has over 80M views on Youtube till date.
The confrontation started with a heated talk between the two until Khali lost his temper and shoved Big Show aside. We see a lot of headbutts getting exchanged at the very beginning of the brawl. Even though the Indian dominated the first half against the former 5 times World Champion, he ended up losing when Big Show broke through the Khali Bomb and instead gave him a Choke Slam.
4. John Cena vs The Rock
On the night of 1st April 2012, we saw the two most followed superstars come to blows. This fight had a huge attendance of around 80 thousand at the Miami Gardens in Florida, which was also on the Rock’s home soil.
In this “Once in a Lifetime” WWE match, we saw a balanced match throughout where both exchanged blows one after another. The two were amongst the most tactically sound superstars of all-time and they sure gave the fans their money’s worth. After a thrilling half an hour mark, as John Cena attempted to perform Rock’s move “People’s Elbow” on him, it backfired as The Rock was ready with a counter and instantly finished it off with his penultimate move “Rock Bottom”. The crowd erupted as the home hero pinned Cena to win the main event.
3. CM Punk vs John Cena
Also regarded as the Battle of Champions in the SummerSlam 2011 was the battle between two fan favorites: John Cena and CM Punk. Aside from these two superstars, the referee caught everyone’s eyes. It was none other than Triple H who was assigned to declare the result of this feud.
Throughout the match, we see a lot of signature moves by both the wrestlers. Numerous amount of heavy punches and kicks are being thrown at each other. In spite of the fact that John Cena had his hand touched to the ropes when Punk was pinning him, Triple H couldn’t see it and awarded CM Punk the win for the match.
2. Stone Cold vs The Rock
The contest for the Championship Title in Wrestlemania XVII is regarded as one of the most entertaining matchups in the History of wrestling. Where, the champion The Rock had to tussle with the “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to retain his championship title himself.
It was an intensifying performance by both the superstars who gave it their all throughout the fight. We see both exchanging ferocious moves with each other leading to a breathtaking scene where both of them are all covered in blood. Although later after the interference by Vince McMahon, Rock had to fight a losing match, and that night everyone saw the end of the Attitude Era.
1. Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker
This matchup between the two most feared wrestlers of the decade was a bliss to the eyes. Being one of the best, both were fated to encounter each other in the SummerSlam 2015. Apart from the fierce exchange of fists, we get to see many memorable moments in this fight. One of those is where both the superstars start laughing even when completely devastated by each other’s hits.
The battle between ‘The Beast’ and ‘The Phenom’ started instantly after both the wrestlers entered the ring. Ten minutes into the match and the former NCAA Division-1 wrestler was all covered in blood. Undertaker ends it with a low blow from behind while Brock was busy celebrating his false victory with his manager Paul Heyman. The following scene was Brock under Hell’s Gate lock. Denying to give up on submission, Brock Lesnar faded away under the hold of the taker, and the referee declared the match win to ‘The Phenom’.
