As NXT Stand and Deliver approaches this week, things got heated up as Roxanne Perez returned from injury and is ready to defend her NXT Women’s Championship title.
The go home show of NXT took place this week and the card was fully stacked and had a list of matches which were a part of the story lines ahead of NXT Stand and Deliver 2023 which is scheduled for this weekend before WrestleMania.
One of the most highly anticipated story lines is for the NXT Women’s Championship ahead of Stand and Deliver as it was seen earlier that Roxanne Perez was injured and also collapsed due to body exhaustion and anxiety.
During today’s episode of NXT, Roxanne Perez enters Shawn Michaels‘s office and informed him that she is healthy and ready to compete and cleared for action to which Michaels was delighted but told her that competing for the title would not be a good thing for her but she would get the first shot at the title for sure after Stand and Deliver.
Listening to this, Perez looked concerned and tells Shawn that she seems to be lost and doubts herself whether her career has peaked or not to which Michaels encourages her by telling her that she has a great career ahead of her.
Perez tries to convince Michaels to include her in the match and let her defend her title to which Michaels agrees but wants regular updates and follow ups from doctors which makes it official that Roxanne Perez is included in the match and it is now a 6 way Ladder match for the championship.
Another name added to the match on today’s episode was Indi Hartwell after she defeated Ivy Nile and Sol Ruca in a three way Last chance qualifier for the NXT Women’s championship match.
Soon after the match Zoey Stark, Gigi Dolin, Lyra Valkyria, Roxanne Perez, and Tiffany Stratton arrived and had a staring showdown.
As Stand and Deliver promises to be an unforgettable night, for many fans this match might steal the show with the amount of talent and the stipulation involved, this match promises to stand out from all other matches and deliver on the given night.
