Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva has fired his shots at the match officials after Liverpool FC ended the unbeaten run of defending English Premier League Champions Manchester City.
Manchester City attacking midfielder Phil Foden tried making breaking the deadlock in the match and giving the Cityzens a lead but the goal was later ruled out by the match officials. And it later resulted in a loss for the blue club.
The brilliant assist by Alisson Becker helped Mohamed Salah find the back of the net and because of the only goal in the match, Liverpool ended on the better side.
Foden thought he had opened the scoring for the visitors in the 53rd minute, but VAR intervened to judge that Erling Haaland had fouled Fabinho in the build-up and chalked the goal off.

In his post-match interview with Sky Sports, Bernardo Silva criticised the match officials. “What we expect from referees is consistency in the decisions,” the Portuguese said. “Just because it’s a tough decision, you have to make [it] and keep the goal, in my opinion.”
Bernardo Silva’s remarks reflected the whole mood of Pep Guardiola’s side at the very really irritated with the result. They are agitated because their first loss of the season came against a not-in-form and Injury stuck Liverpool FC.
