Endeavor Group recently completed the purchase of World Wrestling Entertainment and is gonna take over WWE soon along with the ownership of UFC in hand, Endeavor might change the landscape of both companies by forming WWE and UFC together.
American holding company for talent and agencies, Endeavor completed the purchase of WWE shortly after the mega two-night WrestleMania ended and made it official that WWE is finally purchased.
The Endeavor group represents artists in films, television, music, theater, and many more entertainment events. It is run by CEO Ari Emanuel and chairman Patrick Whitesell.
The group is also the owner of UFC, which means that this deal will also merge both sporting companies under one unit and we might see a crossover of both.
The company is very much involved in sports as it is also a part of the NFL and NHL.
According to the purchase, now the newly purchased WWE and UFC will form a new publicly traded company managed by Endeavor.
Emanuel will be the chief executive of UFC and WWE-made company with Vince being the executive chairman along with Mark Shapiro.
Nick Khan will be continuing his duties as the president of WWE, while Dana White remaining president of UFC.
With decades of its existence, for the first time, WWE will not be a family-owned company and will not be under Mcmahon’s name.
Mcmahon helped transform WWE into the global phenomenon it is today, however, now it will be under a new group of people. The agreement will see two of the largest sports entertainment brands in the world join and take on the big stage.
According to CEO Ariel, it is a very rare opportunity to create a global live sports and entertainment pure play built for where the industry is headed, and is looking forward to seeing both companies conquer the business and get all the fans from both companies to combine and enjoy the latter.
