FIFA has confirmed the cities and stadiums that will host the World Cup 2026. The World Cup will take place across Canada, Mexico and USA. A total of 16 host cities are chosen for the competition.
The 16 host cities will be:
- Atlanta (Mercedes-Benz Stadium: 74,295 capacity)
- Boston (Gillette Stadium: 65,878 capacity)
- Dallas (AT&T Stadium: 80,000 capacity)
- Guadalajara (Estadio Akron: 46,355 capacity)
- Houston (NRG Stadium: 72,220 capacity)
- Kansas City (Arrowhead Stadium: 76,416 capacity)
- Los Angeles (SoFi Stadium: 70,000 capacity)
- Mexico City (Estadio Azteco: 87,523 capacity)
- Miami (Hard Rock Stadium: 65,326 capacity)
- Monterrey (Estadio BBVA: 51,000 capacity)
- New York/New Jersey (MetLife Stadium: 82,500 capacity)
- Philadelphia (Lincoln Financial Field: 67,594 capacity)
- San Francisco Bay Area (Levi’s Stadium: 68,500 capacity)
- Seattle (Lumen Field: 72,000 capacity)
- Toronto (BMO Field: 30,000 capacity)
- Vancouver (BC Place: 54,500 capacity)
Eleven cities out of the 16 are in the United States of America, while two of them are from Canada and the remaining three are Mexican cities. FIFA will later announce that which of the cities will host group stage matches and which of them will host the play-offs.

We look forward to working together with them to deliver what will be an unprecedented FIFA World Cup and a game-changer as we strive to make football truly global.”

About the World Cup 2026
World Cup 2026 will be the 23rd edition of the World Cup. It will be the first edition in which 48 teams will take part, also it will be the first time when a world cup will take place in 3 different countries.
The USA have hosted a World Cup back in 1994. While Mexico will become the first country to host the World Cup 3 times. And, it will be Canada’s first experience in hosting World Cup.
