One of the latest additions to the WWE video game arsenal, WWE 2K22 is the ninth edition of the 2K series for WWE. It comes with the latest game engine and some stunning graphics to behold. Being released for every possible platform out there, it is certainly one of the most famous wrestling video games.
9. WWE SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role
The first game to introduce the creator mode in the WWE video game series, WWE SmackDown! Know Your Role was super popular among gamers in 2000. The game gave freedom to its users to create a custom player profile as well as to create a personalized game mode.
8. WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2011
One of the finest games in SmackDown! vs. Raw series of video games, the 2011 version of the game is a fan favorite. Featuring John Cena on its cover page, the game was also the last of its kind as it was to be succeeded by WWE ’12 from the year after.
7. WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth
A PS2 exclusive video game featuring the likes of Triple H, Brock Lesnar, and Kurt Angle on its cover page was an instant hit as soon as it was launched. This 2002, released game had everything, the WWE video game player base was yearning for.
6. WWE ’13
The last game published under the THQ name, WWE ’13 was also the last game in the series. The game featured CM Punk on its cover page and was published on only three platforms: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
5. WWF WrestleMania 2000
WWF WrestleMania 2000, even though it was released for just the Nintendo 64 player base, was one of the greatest hits of all time. The game was based on the WrestleMania XV event of the year 1999 and contained one of the greatest storylines of the Attitude Era.

WWE 2k14 is the first game in the 2K series of games by WWE. It was never gonna be the same for WWE now that they had a full-fledged development and producer side. The game features “The Rock” as its cover star and comes with a lot of additional features that were never anticipated.
3. WWE SmackDown! vs Raw 2006
This game finds the Top 3 seats in this list for a variety of major reasons. This revolutionary game changed the way players would play the upcoming games from the WWE franchise. It introduced the concept of Stamina-based fighting and came with the most advanced graphics for its time.
2. WWF No Mercy
Rated for a 4.6/5 by the Emulator Games, WWF No Mercy was one of its kind. Players were able to customize players to a great extent. There were numerous new game modes added that the WWE video game player base had never seen. However, it was a Nintendo 64 exclusive game and not everybody could enjoy it at its fullest.
1. WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain
This 2003 release of the WWE SmackDown! video game series was the last in its bloodline. As the name suggests, this version of the game featured Brock Lesnar as the cover superstar for its PS2 exclusive game CDs. Being the last of its name, we will never be able to see a game like this ever again.
