Patrick Mouratoglou expresses his views on why Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are loved so much by fans. He feels that Roger Federer is the definition of perfection and class whereas Rafael Nadal is loved for his efforts and humility.
Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal had one of the biggest rivalries in the history of tennis until the Swiss decided to call it time last year at the 2022 Laver Cup. They share a strong bond despite playing 40 encounters against each other. Nadal leads the head-to-head record 24-16.
Recently Patrick Mouratoglou shared a video on Instagram and discussed about why fans love the two players. He thinks that the Swiss’s perfection and class is what the fans like about him.
“Roger Federer’s fans love perfection. He is extremely popular. It’s because of the way he plays tennis; its perfection. Roger has built the ultimate image of class, which is seen in how he looks, how he behaves, and how he expresses himself. His fans are great admirers of talent and great admirers of class.”

He mentioned Nadal’s fans are usually the type of people who really appreciate one’s hard work, effort, and sweat.
“Rafael Nadal is liked because he gives everything on the court. He has the ability to make people feel for him. He suffers on the court by fighting for every second. He’s also a symbol of humility and it’s always very appreciated. His fans are people who value hard work and sweat or love to see his power and his intensity.”

Roger Federer’s ex-coach shared how the Swiss prepared for a match
Roger Federer’s ex-coach Paul Annacone shared how the Swiss would prepare for a match.
Paul Annacone coached Federer from 2010 to 2013 in which he guided him to two ATP Finals and a major at the 2012 Wimbledon Open.
In a recent interview, he shared how Roger Federer prepared for a match during a tournament. He said that the Swiss would practice swings inside the hotel room the night before the match.
Roger was a little different earlier in our relationship. We did watch a bunch of video, usually the night before. That probably went on for six months or so. But, what Roger would the night before =, you know after dinner, he’d swing by my room .
