Iga Swiatek was seen singing “Mexico” in a chipmunk’s voice after her WTA Title win. It was the same celebration as she had in an event before the start of the tournament.
The 2023 WTA Finals was the 52nd edition of the event. This year the event took place in Cancun, Mexico. It was scheduled between 29th October and 5th November. The singles title was won by the 22-year-old Polish tennis player.
This tournament was a great success for Swiatek as she not only won the WTA Title but also finished the year as the World No.1. She defeated Coco Gauff, Ons Jabeur, and Marketa Vondrousova in the round-robin stage and Aryna Sabalenka in the semifinal before she defeated Jessica Pegula in the finals. She dropped just 20 games throughout the tournament and became the first player to win this tournament dropping less than 25 games.
It was just a week ago, before the start of the tournament when all the players were dressed up for an event. All the players wore white while whereas Iga Swiatek was wearing red. It was in that event that she was seen vibing with the lyrics of a song and singing “Mexico”.
She was singing her heart out and was enjoying the event. Fans loved her carefree mood before the grand tournament. She was not only wearing red but also was in red hot form coming to the Finals.
Cut to today, the WTA Finals concluded this morning and Iga Swiatek continued her undefeated streak by winning 11 matches in a row starting in China. After winning the Finals, Iga was in a happy mood and delighted her fans with an incredible moment.
In a video, she was seen singing “Mexico” in a chipmunk’s voice after she reached her hotel. It was the helium gas from a balloon that she was able to get a chipmunk’s voice.

Iga Swiatek jumbles her victory speech but still wins the hearts of the fans as well as the opponent
Iga Swiatek jumbled her victory speech after she clinched the WTA Finals for the first time today. She thanked the spectators for their presence and for shouting their names during the match as it was not an easy way to the title.
Swiatek was jumbled with words as she was addressing after she received the trophy. But as she mentioned earlier, she did not forget to thank her spectators and congratulate Jessica on a wonderful season.
