As we all know last night Ivan Toney did an absolutely fabulous job by hitting 2 goals to grab a win against Manchester City. Ivan Toney’s 98th-minute winner shook Manchester City’s fans last night.
Toney’s amazing performance and last-minute goal stunned City’s boss Pep Guardiola and fans as they failed to number 9 team, Brentford. Ivan Toney, who was selected for the most recent England squad but not the World Cup squad because Callum Wilson was chosen instead, must have had a very tough week.
Reece James Comment on Toney’s IG Post
The striker gave the ideal answer, taking to social media after the game and posting a photo of himself putting his fingers in his ears.
Reece James quickly commented on Toney’s Instagram post, which was a copy of Mourinho’s remarks made following Chelsea’s loss to Aston Villa in March 2014. But what did he say? He said, “If I speak, I am in big trouble”.
Well, that’s an ideal response as like Toney he was also left out of the English World Cup squad. Many say that he suffered from an injury but Kyle walker was also injured but he is in the squad.
So him being angry for not getting a ticket to Qatar is pretty justifiable and not just him but Toney too. Not just this but he also like a post where Marson questioned where Southgate failed to name some
Reece James tweeted, “I just find it weird that Gareth Southgate is willing to gamble on Kalvin Phillips and Kyle Walker but not Reece James? If it was Harry Kane, he would be going – what’s the difference?”
With all this he created drama among fans and everyone is giving out their opinions, some support him some support Southgate’s decision. Some even said that it’s the worst English Squad for any World Cup ever, but it’s just talking we will see what will happen in the World cup which is going to happen soon.
