Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal drafted a well-versed win over Fotballklubben Bodø/Glimt in their UEFA Europa League fixture on Thursday night. The Gunners won the match with a scoreline of 3-0.
Arsenal are only two spots away from securing a Knockout stage spot in the UEFA Europa League. The Gunners will play their next match against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Sunday at Emirates Stadium.
Last week also, Arsenal gave a heroic performance against Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur. They broke into the 5-4-1 formation of the Lilywhites to score thrice in the North London derby.
It’s fair to say that for the whole night, Arsenal were on the dominant side. Eddie Nketiah, Rob Holding and Fabio Vieira found the back of the net for the Gunners as they swiftly won the Match.
Eddie Nketiah broke the deadlock for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal FC when he scored on a rebound after Gabriel Martinelli’s attempt for an early lead. Just after a couple of minutes, the Gunners doubled their lead with the help of a corner headed attack from Fabio Vieira. Rob Holding scored it.
After getting subbed in just before the one-hour mark, Gabriel Jesus helped Fabio Vieira to mark the win utterly in the match. It was a beautifully scored goal by the pair.
“There’s still a lot of things we can do collectively better!” Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta talks and his squad
“There’s still a lot of things we can do collectively better, we need to keep the standards as high as possible and raise the next level,” Arteta said in his post-match press conference.
“We had spells that were too rushed, didn’t win enough duels and didn’t manage the ball and win it back well enough. It became really open with a lot of transitions. When the game is in your hands you have to manage it much better.”
