The NXT star recently tweeted out a threat to Odyssey James after he cost Dijak a spot at NXT Stand & Deliver.
With NXT’s Stand & Deliver PPV event just a few days away, a lot has been going on at NXT. Stand & Deliver is the biggest event of NXT, as some may call it the black and gold brand’s version of The Grandest Stage Of Them All. Every superstar is fighting to get a spot at the mega event. However, not everyone made it to the match card. One of them was Dijak, who lost his opportunity to make it to Los Angeles for WrestleMania weekend.
The big man had the opportunity to participate in the Fatal 5-Way match for the North American Championship at WrestleMania. The North American Championship is going to be up for grabs as Wes Lee defends his title against Dragon Lee, Ilja Dragunov, and JD McDonagh. It was recently announced that the fifth contender would be determined by a 20-man Battle Royal this week.
Dijak was a part of the 20-man Battle Royal that kicked off NXT this week. His plans to make his way to Stand & Deliver were shattered by Odyssey Jones who eliminated the big man after several minutes in the match. After the match, he took to Twitter to let Odyssey know that he wasn’t happy with the outcome and that he is coming after him.
Dijak’s Last PPV Appearance
Dijak’s last appearance at a PPV event was at NXT Vengeance Day when he faced off against The North American Champion, Wes Lee. He injured his hand in the match, suffering a dislocated finger.
It was a hard-fought battle that saw Lee get the pinfall victory on Dijak. He had a second opportunity to have a rematch against The North American Championship by winning his way into the Fatal 5-Way match. His plans were, however, foiled by Odyssey Jones. The big man now has to sit out on the greatest event of the year, for NXT.
