Despite having fought for almost 6 hours in an Australian Open 2R matchup, Andy Murray had just enough energy to crack jokes to entertain the crowd.
3-times Grand Slam winner Andy Murray was against the local boy Thanasi Kokkinakis in the second round matchup of the Australian Open 2024 in Melbourne. The match resulted in a 5-set thriller where Andy made one of the greatest comebacks of his life.
After being two sets down Andy geared up to defeat the Aussie with a scoreline of 3-2 (4-6, 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 7-5). This 6-hour-long thrilling match ended at 4:10 am, leaving both the players and the audience tired.
However, cheeky Andy Murray had a lot more in him than this. In his post-match interview, he entered a funny bit with the interviewer to entertain the audience. When asked about his performance in the match and why he was down two sets, he said, “I have a big heart.”
This bit didn’t just stop there as the interviewer continued it by saying, “You have everything big.” To which Andy hilariously replied, “I’m not sure if my wife would agree.”

Although the match was rough for him with all the drama about the toilet break rules he addressed as “ridiculous”, he somehow found his way around and lightened the situation with his humor.
“I’m going to make my husband work tonight,” Ons Jabeur’s NSFW humor at Australian Open
The Australian Open this year has witnessed its fair share of suggestive moments, with Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur contributing to the fun bit during a Tuesday interview about her post-match recovery.
When asked about the possibility of having an ice bath, Jabeur humorously responded, “Ice bath, and I’m going to make my husband work tonight, so we have a lot of massage and good recovery.”
As the crowd applauded, she playfully emphasized, “massage, guys, massage.”
Jabeur went on to provide clarification before people jumped to conclusion on their own, saying, “For those who don’t know, my husband is also my fitness coach and does everything for me, so…”
“Thank God for that, Ons. There’s probably children watching,” the interviewer concluded the question with a funny remark.
