He’s the guy who represents Serbia in a much bigger scene. He’s the Serbian ambassador. He’s the idol to the kids in Serbia not just for the things on the court but also for the things his foundation is doing.
Djokovic after the social media posts, responded in the same manner.
“I don’t think anyone can do what he’s doing at the moment in basketball. He’s definitely the best basketball player in the world. I cheer for him greatly, he’s an amazing guy, he’s the pride of Serbia, we’re so proud of him, we hope he can win his first ring.”

“There was a time when I simply couldn’t play like that” – Iga Swiatek responds to Novak Djokovic’s praise for her
Iga Swiatek shared a few words for Novak Djokovic who praised the Polish during the US Open. Djokovic stated that Swiatek is a ‘warrior’ and possessed a ‘fighting spirit’ and was impressed by her professionalism on the court.
In a recent interview with Super Express, the Polish tennis player was reminded by a reporter what Djokovic said about her game in August. She was asked about her fighter and warrior spirit which was mentioned by her Serbian.
Swiatek responded by saying that she always gives her all when doing anything but that there was a time when she couldn’t play with the same focus and intensity.
“I remember I always didn’t feel like wasting time on the court, and when I was doing something, I always felt I had to do it one hundred percent. There was a time when I simply couldn’t play like that, with the same focus and intensity. It was only in 2022 when I reached such a level that everything came together and started to work.”
