Former WWE superstar Stacy Keibler officially joins Rey Mysterio, The Great Muta, and Andy Kaufman in the WWE Hall Of Fame Class of 2023.
The Hall Of Fame ceremony took place after last night’s SmackDown. The first inductee of the ceremony was The Master Of 619, Rey Mysterio, and the newest inductee to the Hall Of Fame is Stacy Keibler. Keibler was the most prominent in the WWES’s Attitude Era. After being inducted, she said that it was “good to be home”.
Stacy Keibler revealed that she never imagined that she would ever be inducted into the Hall Of Fame, the same place as Legends like Ric Flair, The Undertaker, and Rey Mysterio. Apparently, she was surprised when she got an unexpected call from a WWE representative about her being inducted. She said that she got teary-eyed when she heard the news.
Stacy Keibler started her career in professional wrestling when she won a Nitro Girls competition in 1999. She made her debut as a cheerleader in WCW. Later when WCW was purchased by WWE, she made her debut in the company shortly afterward. She got a big push in WWE by becoming a part of the Alliance and worked with household names like The Dudley Boyz and Test.
Stacy Keibler was a force to be reckoned with inside the ring. She was a frequent challenger for the Women’s Championship. She was also involved in a storyline against her long-time rival, Torrie Wilson. Keibler left WWE in 2006, in pursuit of other interests.
She later came back to WWE to induct her long-time friend, Torrie Wilson into the Hall Of Fame.
Who inducted Stacy Keibler into the Hall Of Fame 2023?
Stacy Keibler was inducted into the Hall Of Fame, Class of 2023 by none other than Torrie Wilson, her long-time rival and best friend in real life.
Torrie Wilson was inducted into the Hall of Fame 2019 by Stacy Keibler. This year, Wilson returned the favor by inducting her best friend into the Hall of Fame. It is also to be noted that these two had a pretty big rivalry back in 2000. They even had the first ever “lingerie” match, which was won by Torrie Wilson. Their rivalry continued to WrestleMania, which was Keibler’s first match at The Showcase Of The Immortals.
With the end of this year’s Hall Of Fame, fans are now waiting impatiently for this year’s WrestleMania. Catch the event on April 1 and April 2, at 8 PM EST.
