With Stand and deliver around the corner, the North American title will be defended in a 5-way match in which Dragon Lee was confirmed along with two more superstars from the developmental brand.
On the latest episode of NXT 2.0, NXT North American Champion Wes Lee names three of his four opponents for his title defense at WWE NXT Stand and Deliver.
Shawn Michaels himself gave Lee the chance to pick his opponents to which the North American champ responded and picked three of them.
Wes Lee stated that he has a chip on his shoulders and he wants to compete against the world’s very bests to defend that title.
While talking about his intentions, he was cut off short by the newest WWE signee since December, Dragon Lee. Dragon stated that he came to WWE for the very same reason, to compete against the very best. He also said that he enjoyed the chaos around him and wanted to be a part of it for a very long time.
Wes Lee gave the very first spot to Dragon Lee before the arrival of JD McDonagh and Ilja Dragunov.
A match took place between Dragunov and McDonagh which was an absolute banger and ended up being a four-way brawl between all the four superstars which ultimately let Wes Lee decide his other two opponents, Dragunov and McDonagh. This leaves only one place in the fatal five-way match for the North American championship which will be decided in a battle royal taking place next week.
