We all are familiar with Federico Valverde’s brilliant individual performance this season. Getting a regular place in the starting 11 is really difficult at a club like Real Madrid. But the young 24-year-old has managed to do so.
And midfield Maestro Toni Kroos is not shy of praising his young teammate. He tweeted “Fede Valverde top 3 in the world right now.” When the season started, Carlo Ancelotti opened up about a conversation between him and the young Uruguayan player.
The Real Madrid Boss said that he wants Federico Valverde to score more than 10 goals this season and the 24-year-old is on the very right path. He has scored some of the most crucial goals for Los Blancos last season.
After Real Madrid defeated FC Barcelona at the El Clasico, Boss Carlo Ancelotti again praised the young Uruguayan. He said “Kroos helped us play out from the back and he was strong defensively… Valverde is getting used to playing in this position [on the right]. He’s scoring goals, and he has spectacular energy.”
It evidently seems like everyone at the Santiago Bernabéu is fondly impressed by the brilliant playing abilities of the young Real Madrid star. And getting praise from people such as Carlo Ancelotti and Toni Kroos is a huge thing in itself.
Federico Valverde’s performance this season for Real Madrid
Federico Valverde has scored 5 goals and provided one assist in a total of 14 appearances for real Madrid this season and it looks like he will surely cross the 10-goal mark.
Liverpool was really interested in signing that 24 year old but all the links and rumours were ruled out earlier in the summer transfer window. The rumours took a rise when Aurelien Tchouameni signed for Los Blancos.
But it froms totally fair to say that Real Madrid are really equipped when it comes to world-class midfielders. After beating Xavi Hernandez’s FC Barcelona they have reached the top spot in La Liga with a three point difference from the Blaugrana.
