Carlo Ancelotti (4 titles)
Italian manager Alcelotti makes it to the top of the standings and is the most successful manager in the history of the UEFA Champions League. He is also the coach of the reigning champions, Real Madrid who won the latest version of the tournament.
He also led them to victory in the 2013-14 season of the tournament. Apart from Real Madrid, Carlo has also been part of the second most successful club in the Champions League and led them to victory on two separate occasions.
Bob Paisley (3 titles)
English football manager Bob Paisley is one of the most successful managers of all time and has won the title a total of 3 times. He was with the Premier League club Liverpool for all his managerial career and led them to victory in 1977,1978, and 1981.
Zinedine Zidane (3 titles)
After a stunning record on the field playing as a player, Zidane took himself to manage his last team Real Madrid and became a hit there as well. He won three Champions League titles with the club.
He was on a winning spree and won three consecutive Champions League titles and became the only manager to do so. Zidane won the 2016,17,18 titles with Real Madrid and is one of the major reasons for Madrid’s dominating performance in the Champions League.
There are only four managers out of the above list that is still active. After Carlo Ancelotti and Zidane, Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola are the other two still in play coaches that have their chances at the title.
Both Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola have won two Champions League titles. The chances of Pep Guardiola winning this season are pretty high given his team’s performance and the Premier League victory in the previous season.
Sir Alex Ferguson also makes an appearance on the list after winning two titles for his Manchester United team in 1999 and 2008.
