Who was the mastermind behind Bret Hart's Sharpshooter?

Bret Hart's 'Sharpshooter' move was a force to be reckoned with. However, the move that forced people to tap wasn't one of his originals.

The Hitman was one of the most elite WWE superstars of all time. Having won it all, he was surely an overachiever.

This 5 times WWF Champion had one of the most terrifying finishers in the industry. However, it was not his own creation.

The move was invented by a former New Japan Pro Wrestling star Riki Choshu. He named it "Sasori-Gatame" which translates to "Scorpion Hold."

The move then traveled to WCW where it was adopted by Sting. It fits his character perfectly. Even the name "Scorpion Deathlock" looked resembling.

It was Konnan aka Max Moon who taught Bret Hart how to do this maneuver. And the rest is History.
