OLDEST FOOTBALL CLUB IN EUROPE

Founded in 1857, Sheffield F.C. is the oldest football club existing that is still playing.

The club is competing in Northern Premier League Division One. They are now based in Dronfield, Derbyshire.

The club appointed Ryan Cresswell as their new manager. He has vast playing experiences.

The pioneers Nathaniel Creswick and William Prest, wanted to build a community for the game of football.

It is the world's first football club ever. The main aim was to create a game for old and young people to enjoy in free time.

They helped to create the game we know today as- football with a set of standard rules.

The club currently competes in the FA Cup as the most prominent competition.
