Former Royal Rumble winner talks about his return to WWE under Triple H

WWE's Chief Content Officer and Head of Creative, Triple H has rehired a number of talents back in the company.

Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Karrion Kross, Dexter Lumes, Dakota Kai, Hit Row, and more are a few of the names re-signed by Hunter.

But there is a name that hasn't heard a word from Hunter. And it's Alberto Del Rio.

Alberto Del Rio won the 40-man Royal Rumble match in 2011, in addition to his few title runs in WWE across his seven years.

During a recent interview, Del Rio was asked whether he's in talks with Triple H regarding a return or not.

"To be honest I haven’t talked to the new administration, I did when John Laurinaitis was around and a couple of phone calls that didn’t go anywhere and then you know it happened what happened. We have a new administration doing fantastic things.

In his WWE career, Alberto Del Rio was featured for various main reasons. He faced A-list superstars such as John Cena, CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio.
