WNBA star Brittney Griner was imprisoned in Russia for the past 294 days.
She was finally released on a prisoner swap clause releasing Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout.

Brooklyn Nets' Kyrie Irving also welcomed Brittney. His tweet read: "Welcome Home BG! Thank you for exemplifying what a true Warrior spirit looks like. You’re forever loved by so many unconditionally."
2x WNBA champion Breanna Stewart also gave her good wishes to Griner. She says, "BG is FREE!!! 294 days and she is coming home!!!"
WNBA official twitter handle also took out time to welcome Brittney back. Their tweet read, "From day 1 to day 294, we never forgot about you BG, and today the entire WNBA family rejoiced."
