Arsenal pays tribute to Pablo Mari

Arsenal paid respect to Pablo Mari before and during their match against Nottingham Forest, after the centre-back was released from hospital.

After scoring the goal, Arsenal striker Gabriel Martinelli paid respect to teammate Pablo Mari.

Mari, who is on loan from Arsenal to Serie A club Monza, was involved in a stabbing incident in a Milan shop.

Mari has already undergone surgery and is well enough to return home, but he is expected to be out for two months.

Since joining Monza on loan in the summer, the Spaniard has made eight appearances and scored one goal.

Arsenal players paid tribute to him ahead of their Premier League match against Nottingham Forest, with the entire squad and management.

The operation went well, and a two- or three-day hospital stay is likely. The athlete will be allowed to begin the rehabilitation procedure.
