Cristiano Ronaldo all set to be fined $1 million by Manchester United for doing an interview against them

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to be fined at least £1 million for agreeing to give Piers Morgan a shocking interview.

In which he slammed Erik ten Hag, Manchester United's board of directors, and the club's standards.

During an interview with Morgan, the 37-year-old went nuclear, just hours after United's morale-boosting 2-1 triumph against Fulham.

In October, Ronaldo was fined two weeks' pay for refusing to come in as a substitute against Tottenham.

United is expected to do the same this time, with Ronaldo facing a fine of around £1 million.

The club has refused to comment on Ronaldo's interview, but it will be watched with suspicion.

Ronaldo has most likely played his final game for the club and could be released before the January transfer window closes.
