In the wake of Kyrie Irving's controversial post about a book and movie with antisemitic beliefs, Nike suspends its deal with the player.
The official contract between the two parties was supposed to end on 1st October 2023 but meets its abrupt end right away.
They also called off the launch of the latest edition shoes Kyrie 8 which were supposed to be out on 8th November.
They say: "At Nike, we believe there is no place for hate speech and we condemn any form of antisemitism."
"We are deeply saddened and disappointed by the situation and its impact on everyone," Nike added to their statement.
Brooklyn Nets player Kyrie Irving had previously made a post promoting "Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America!".
This post had antisemitic probes and was hurtful towards the Jewish community.
Brooklyn Nets and Kyrie Irving had to donate $500,000 each for the affect of Irving's social media post.
